A Word about Anonymity

Some of our writers use their real names, but most of us do not. If you know an anonymous writer in real life by his or her real name, please do not use that name here. Many of our writers share about sensitive, personal issues, and it is important to our creative processes that we feel safe to share here.

Also, some of our writers have other blogs that are anonymous. If that writer has chosen to link to his or her blog on a profile page, we want to protect that person's anonymity on the other blog as well.

When someone has chosen to write anonymously, it is often to protect more than just him or herself. It also protects family members, friends, and others whose stories might be entangled in the writer's own.

So please protect each writer's safety, and respect our anonymity!
